Business thank you cards

A printed thank-you card is a receipt with a nicer font. This one is written out in pen, one at a time, with whatever you actually want to say to that particular person on it.

  • A real pen, not a font
  • $6.99 one card, $2.45 at volume
  • US postage included
  • Your artwork on the front, your sign-off inside

Upload your artwork at 108 × 140 mm, then add the message inside. Your design is saved privately in your account and costs the same to send as a card from our collection.

Why send a card?

The gap between a printed thank-you and a written one

Everybody has had the card that comes in the box. Same eight words on every one, printed in a script face, signed by nobody. It is a nice gesture and it takes about a second to read and forget.

The difference is not the sentiment, it is whether a person could plausibly have sat down and written it. Real ink does that, and so does a message that mentions the actual thing you are thanking them for. Ours does both: the pen is real and the words change per recipient, even if you are sending four thousand.

It costs $6.99 to send one. At a thousand it is $3.50 each, which is less than most companies spend on a branded pen nobody keeps.

How it works

Thank people at the moment it makes sense

The thank-you that works is the one that turns up a few days after the thing happened, not in a quarterly batch.

1

Pick the moment

Deal closed. First order shipped. Contract renewed. Anything your CRM or store already records as an event can be the trigger.

2

Merge in what they did

Pull the order, the product, the deal name or the rep's name straight through into the message so the card is about them and not about you.

3

A pen writes it

Every card goes through individually in one of 30+ handwriting styles. Pick a hand once and stick with it so your mail looks consistent.

4

Stamped and posted

We address the envelope by hand, put a real US stamp on it and drop it in the mail. You get a ping when it goes.

Works with HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Zapier, Make, n8n and webhooks. Anything else with an API, we will build it free of charge.

What to write

What to write in a business thank you card

Name the specific thing. A thank-you that could be sent to anybody reads like it was.

  • After a first orderThe inside of a handwritten card reading: Sam, Thank you for the order. The first one we have ever sent to Boise, which caused a stir here. Nina
  • After a contract renewalThe inside of a handwritten card reading: Dear Rachel, Thank you for signing on for another year. Three now, and we do not take it for granted. Tom
  • To a long-standing clientThe inside of a handwritten card reading: David, Thank you. The Q2 project was a hard one and you made it far easier than it should have been. Priya
  • After a big or unusual orderThe inside of a handwritten card reading: Nina, Thank you for the order. Four hundred units is the largest we have ever shipped. Sam
  • To a supplierThe inside of a handwritten card reading: Tom, Thank you for twelve months without a single missed delivery. We notice. Ellen

Copy any of these. Change the name and the one detail only you would know, and it sounds like you wrote it. That is the whole job: short, specific, no sales pitch. Every card above is a different handwriting in real ink, and on a real send your CRM fills in the names, so four thousand cards say four thousand different things.

Your questions

Business thank you cards, answered

What do business thank you cards cost?

$6.99 for a single card including the US stamp. Volume brings it down through eight tiers: $5.59 at 100, $4.89 at 250, $3.50 at 1,000, and $2.45 once you are past 10,000. You buy credits when you need them and they do not expire.

Can every card say something different?

Yes, and that is the point. Merge fields pull the order, the deal, the product or the rep's name out of your system and into each card, so a run of four thousand has four thousand different messages in real ink.

Can we put our logo on the card?

On the front, yes — send us your own artwork and we print it. Not on the inside, though. Nothing is printed in there at all: the inside is what the pen writes. What you set once is a standing line and the team's signature, and the pen writes those on every card along with the message.

Can we trigger a thank-you automatically when a deal closes?

Yes. Connect HubSpot, Salesforce, Shopify, Klaviyo, Zapier, Make, n8n or a plain webhook, and set the trigger. We also have a REST API if you would rather call it yourself.

How long does it take to arrive?

We write and post within a couple of days, then it is normal US mail on top of that. If it needs to land by a particular date, tell us the date and we work back from it.

Do you send outside the US?

Not yet. We write and post within the United States, with US postage included in every price on this page.
